When gel alone is not holding, a 1% fipronil bait powder gives you a second format for the same war: dusted into wall voids, under baseboards, behind the kick plate of a cabinet, into the gap where a garage wall meets the slab, and along exterior entry lines where roaches come in from mulch and drains.

The higher fipronil load is aimed at heavy pressure: American and Oriental roaches moving up from sewers and crawlspaces, or a German population that has spread from a kitchen into adjacent rooms. Because it is a bait rather than a contact spray, roaches feed and carry it back, and the colony declines over one to three weeks.

Pouches keep the powder flowable and make it easy to treat several voids without carrying a bulk container. The powder is low-odor, does not stain masonry, and stays active in dry sheltered gaps far longer than a spray residue.
